1. Overview
Welcome to LifeOne! This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in the LifeOne mobile application (the "App"). We built LifeOne as a habit and streak tracker with a core philosophy: your personal growth history is your business, not ours.
Unlike traditional apps, LifeOne is designed to function entirely offline, operating directly on your device without transmitting data to external servers.
2. No Account & No Data Collection
We believe in absolute anonymity. LifeOne does not collect, process, upload, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). Here is what we do not collect:
No registration or account creation is required (no usernames, passwords, or emails).
No name, email address, phone number, or demographic details.
No tracking code, telemetry, device identifiers, or IP addresses.

Because we do not have accounts or databases, we cannot view, modify, or sell any of your habits or completion logs. You are in complete control.
3. Local Data Storage
All data generated in LifeOne remains strictly on your device. The App stores information in secure local sandboxed database directories using highly efficient Hive database technology. This includes:
Your list of habits, categories, and custom emojis.
Your streak records, completion dates, and progress calendars.
Custom notifications, system preferences, and theme settings.
This data is protected by the operating system’s standard application sandboxing. No third party (including ourselves) can access this directory under normal device conditions.
4. System Permissions
LifeOne requests specific system permissions to deliver optional features. You can enable or disable these at any time via your device's settings:
Notifications: Used to display local reminders for habit check-ins (e.g., morning habits or evening check-in). These alerts are scheduled locally and do not involve remote push notification servers.
Files / Storage (Optional): Used if you choose to manually restore backups from a backup file stored on your device.
5. Data Control & Deletion
Because your data is stored locally, you have absolute ownership and control to import, export, or delete it:
Exporting Data: You can export all your habit history and settings as a standard text-based JSON file to copy it to your clipboard. This allows you to paste the backup in a safe place.
Importing Data: You can import a previously copied JSON backup from your clipboard to restore your habit configurations.
Full Deletion: You can wipe all data by deleting individual habits inside the settings view, clearing the application's storage in your device settings, or uninstalling LifeOne. Once deleted, this information is gone forever and cannot be recovered.
6. Third-Party Interactions
We do not integrate with third-party tracking software, advertising networks, or user profiling analytics. However, if you choose to share your achievements or streak charts via the native "Share" functionality in the app, this action will launch the standard sharing sheet of your device's operating system (iOS or Android) to pass the content to the app you select. We do not control or track where you share your data.
7. Contact & Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect modifications in our App. Any updates will be published within the App or via the distribution platform (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).
